3 courses with 3 different 3oz wine pairings, $57
1st Course
Stuffed Grape Leaves with Quinoa, Pine Nuts, Parsley and Pickled Onions
Domaine Skouras Almyra Chardonnay 2016
This fresh but spicy Chardonnay starts with tropical fruit, citrus and floral aromas leading into a great fruit and acid balance. The minerality keeps the wine fresh and lifted, giving it a food-friendly edge.
2nd Course
Olive Oil Grilled Octopus with Chickpea Puree, Tomatoes, Feta, Olives and Oregano
Domaine Zafeirakis Malagousia, Tyrnavos, Greece 2016
The Malagousia is a blend of two vineyards: sandy clay and clay limestone. One gives lime green pepper, white peach and acidity; the other offers mid-level acidity, fat and muscaty aroma. The pale wild ferment lends to a less floral, soft botanical profile of fresh basil with palate awakening freshness.
3rd Course
White Wine Poached Seasonal Fish with Sundried Tomato Glaze, Gigantas, Feta, Lemon, Arugula and Crispy Capers
Troupis Fteri Moschofilero 2017
Wine-making at low temperatures helps preserve all the typical yet sensitive aromas of the Moschofilero grape. As a result, Fteri Moschofilero is an intensely fragrant wine combining the bouquet of night-blooming jasmine, pomegranate and citrus fruits. Its excellent aroma and sharp taste make it a wine that can be enjoyed as an aperitif as well as an accompaniment to dishes such as pasta with basil, chicken a la crème, grilled prawns and pies.
