The Small Business Leader of the Year Award recognizes an individual who clearly reflect quality and dedication in the operation of business in the Asheville area and provide leadership accomplishments including innovation, initiative and civic responsiveness. There are two categories: 15 or fewer full-time employees and 16 to 50 full-time employees. Joe Scully and Kevin Westmoreland co-owners of Corner Kitchen, Chestnut and Corner Kitchen Catering won this prestigious award in the 16 to 50 employees category.
