Our first Humans of Corner Kitchen of 2023 is Billy Sheeran! Read on to find out how long he’s been a part of our team and some of his favorite local spots!

How long have you worked for Corner Kitchen & what’s your role?

I started at Corner Kitchen as a server in 2009 (back when Joe Scully used to cook on the line)!

What is your favorite meal or cocktail you’ve had at Corner Kitchen? 

The Shrimp and Grits is my favorite dish. And the Vanderbilt Martini. Mmm.

What is one of your passions outside of work?

My passion is music. I am recording a solo studio album right now that should be done by February!

Where in town would you recommend? 

One of my favorite local breweries is Wedge brewery. The banh mi sandwich from Wild Ginger. Second Gear is a great place to get all your outdoor needs.

If you could travel anywhere in the world for a food experience, where would you go and what would you want to try?

I’d love to walk around Morocco sampling all multitudes of Tagines.
