How long have you worked for Corner Kitchen, and what’s your current position?
Between Corner Kitchen and Chestnut, I’ve worked for about two and half years, on cold side in the kitchen, desserts in the back, and as support staff.
Are you an Asheville local, or alternatively what brought you here?
Asheville native, born and raised.
What is your favorite dish you’ve had at the restaurant?
My favorite dish, so far, has to be the cherry glazed pork chop.
What life lessons has working in the service industry taught you?
Communicating with and supporting people that support you.
If you could only pick two or three places for foodies to try in Asheville, what would you suggest?
Wasabi, Nine Mile, and Little Bee Thai. [Sensing a common theme here.]
What is your biggest passion(s) outside the restaurant?
Probably anything to do with cars, especially older ones with a lot of power.
