Event – Dining in the Dark!

A historic building in Biltmore Village, Corner Kitchen is a 124-year-old Green Certified restaurant. Co-owners Kevin Westmoreland and Chef Joe Scully say that making this celebrated building environmentally-friendly was a labor of love.

Westmoreland says, “I think about the energy I (and we) use every time I turn off a light switch. In an industry in which it is somewhat difficult to be green, I want to make every effort to do so. I also want to call attention to the simple things we can all do to help our environment. Dining in the Dark does that.”

Dining in the Dark will take place on Earth Day, April 22. We are limiting lights where we can (and also keeping our guests safe), tables will have real candles, inside and outside, our menu will be highlighting sustainable/organic wines as well as product and we will be utilizing as many ingredients that are available in Chef Joe Scully’s garden.

Reservations are not necessary but recommended!

Corner Kitchen is proud to be part of Asheville's vibrant food scene and...don't forget that parking is free in the village (and very abundant during dinner service)!

Hurricane Helene has devastated many parts of our beautiful city of Asheville including Historic Biltmore Village. We will have to rebuild Corner Kitchen and that will take at least 4-6 months. For the latest information, please visit our social media sites.
